Valley Health opened as Valley Family Planning Health and Education Center in October 1972, serving just four clients the first clinic evening. Currently, Valley Health has expanded services to include the Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program. In 2016, Valley Health served more than approximately 2,500 patients. Everyone qualifies for family planning and reproductive health services regardless of income. A sliding fee scale, based on income, is used to determine the charges for those who wish to apply for reduced rates. We accept a number of insurances including Medicaid (ND and MN). Valley Health will submit your claims for services and supplies.

The overall goal of Valley Health is to ensure that voluntary family planning services are made available and accessible to all individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, creed, age, sex, parity, disability, economic status or marital status and to ensure that services provide comprehensive quality education, counseling and medical services according to state and federal regulations.
Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program
Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program (OPOP) is a prevention program designed to empower pregnant women to make informed healthy lifestyle choices for healthy babies. OPOP provides a multidisciplinary team committed to enhancing prenatal care women receive from their primary healthcare provider. The goal is to improve birth outcomes. Clients are seen on a monthly basis.
Valley Health is a Title X funded Family Planning and reproductive health clinic. Funding for this program provided in part through United Way.
